John Armstrong

Business Head Soshen

Within Moshen Limited, John is the Business Head of Soshen, responsible for the creation, deployment and management of multiple social groups across a diverse body of platforms representing brands and IP from all over the world.

John has over 10 years experience in the mobile and games industries. He brought Finnish company Jippii Entertainment to the UK in 2000 and was one of the pioneers in the reverse billed SMS Logo and Ringtone business, establishing relationships with international companies and brands including Manchester United and the Cartoon Network.

John has had senior management roles at Opera Telecom and was Operations Director at ROK. He has also consulted for Fonedream, Goal.com and Micro-gaming.

Over the last two years John created World Gaming Executives a social business network forging links between the mobile, console and online games & gambling industries.

Jamie Hales

CTO Appshen

Jamie is the CTO of Moshen Limited. He is chiefly responsible for the innovative use of technology in the mobile space, marrying platforms to clients and ensuring we deliver the best technology solution for our clients’ international brands and IP.

After gaining his BSc in Computer Science at Southampton University, Jamie started his career in AAA console development. At Bizarre Creations he developed scalable tools for handling large quantities of data and worked on key components for several high profile games, including the James Bond 007: Blood Stone and Blur titles. Bizarre Creations' games have sold in excess of 10 million copies to date.

After working at Bizarre Creations he went on to form his own app development company, Pixel Balloon, specialising in mobile app and game development.

Jon Hill

CTO Comshen

At Moshen Limited, Jon is responsible for the development and strategy of the Comshen Communications platform – delivering many millions of digital messages per month. He has 15 years experience in the online and mobile industries in software development, project management at a senior level.

As Operations Director at leading mobile content company Monstermob, Jon was responsible for the team that designed and developed the international content delivery and real-time billing platform. Other roles include Technical Director at Fonedream (a b2b mobile content and service provider), CTO and founder of Message Scape (US based premium rate SMS messaging company) and most recently as CTO of London based Mediacells. Mediacells provided market insight software and services such as mobile site analytics and consumer mobile phone deal analysis to clients including Turner Media, Virgin Mobile and BSkyB.

Jon has also worked as a consultant with a variety of clients and provided procurement software for London 2012 Olympics with the London Development Agency (Java EE development) and Fox Mobile Distribution (Product Development).

Gary Hall

Multi Media Director

Within Moshen Limited, Gary is responsible for the multi-media strategy, ensuring we deliver the best visual experiences across a diverse range of platforms for our clients’ international brands and IP.

Gary first started his career as an illustrator and designer at the National Museum and Galleries, where he created exhibition spaces, murals and educational books.

From there he joined Telezones as Senior Designer and shaped the original brand identity of Monstermob, the world's No.1 mobile media company. In 2001 he joined the BAFTA winning video games company Bizarre Creations, producers of the critically acclaimed Project Gotham Racing series and F1, fulfilling various artistic roles including Senior Concept Artist and finally UI Director. Bizarre Creations games have sold in excess of 10 million copies to date.

Gary is a successful illustrator in his own right, his work has been published widely and includes several anthologies He is also a co-owner of Futureproof Clothing.

Ian Howarth

Creative Director

Ian is Group Creative Director at Moshen Limited, responsible for the creative strategy, working on a diverse portfolio of international brands and IP. He has over 10 years experience as a creative director including seven years at senior management level.

After graduating in Graphic Design he worked as designer for TVR, the iconic British sports car manufacturer.

In 2001 Ian joined Monstermob as a senior designer, developing mobile content, strengthening the company's visual identity across the world and working with the Monstermob-Ducati British Superbike team.

Ian also ran his own freelance design business picking up national accounts and in 2004 he co-launched the Rehab Agency. Clients included Adidas, Parques Reunidos and Eto Jeans. After expanding Rehab in 2009 Ian decided to launch Make Creative which was acquired by Moshen in 2010.

Bob Jones

CFO

Bob is the Group CFO focused on supporting the corporate finance, commercial and legal operations of Moshen Limited.

He has a wealth of experience in Corporate Finance having held multiple senior positions with major UK PLC Companies including Puricore PLC, Orange PLC, Siemens and Dairy Crest PLC.

Bob is a qualified accountant with a track record of entrepreneurial approach and business partnering, taking full ownership of business processes leading companies to margin improvements. Bob has a deep knowledge of company funding including main UK market floatation, group mergers and acquisitions.

Ezra Garside

Business Development Director

Ezra is an experienced entrepreneur with a diverse corporate background and is Co-Founder and acting Business Development Director of Moshen Limited.

During the course of his career Ezra has assisted in sales, funding and corporate development of established companies working internationally in digital media; including Red Vision with David Mousley, Empire Interactive the computer games publisher and The Home Computer Club part of the BCA Group. Ezra has been involved in many successful start-up businesses including Sold-Out which became Europes leading budget software publisher and Simshield the mobile phone back-up service.

He has helped develop youth brands including Gatecrasher the global events and music label overseeing sponsorship and business development and has extensive experience within the sports, leisure and interactive media markets helping to generate over £30 million in corporate funding and £100 million in sales. Ezra possesses strong business acumen and commercial sense and has enviable personal relationships across a wide network of leading companies, brands and opinion formers.

At Moshen Ezra is responsible for new business, commercial strategy and evangelising about our position at the forefront of the digital media market.

Graham Baines

CEO & Founder

Graham is the Founder and CEO of Moshen Limited. With a wealth of digital and mobile knowledge, his insightful approach to the connected world resonates with IP owners, brands and companies as they embrace digital markets.

Graham launched Juice in 1992, with musician James Mackie (The Selector, Madness, Eurythmics), winning international clients such as Fujitsu, Scottish Telecom and Mitsubishi and creating a number of technology and web firsts. Asked to implement and launch a fledgling virtual world acquired by Fujitsu from Lucas Arts, Juice developed the EMEA strategy and launched into multiple markets. Juice was subsequently acquired by a VC spin out from Fujitsu in 1997, further developing virtual worlds for clients such as MTV, Kia, Demon, Thus and Channel 5.

After discovering Mobile Operator Logos while creating WAP games, Graham co-launched Telezones, becoming Monstermob, which established itself as the most successful mobile entertainment company in the world.

Switching to mobile content creation in 2000, Graham launched Fonedream. Partnering with a number of Korean companies, he developed next generation products introducing them into western markets as the industry matured. Supplying mobile operators and handset manufacturers including Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Vodafone, Orange, Virgin, O2 and China Mobile. Fonedream was sold to ROK Group in 2005 and Graham became CEO of ROK Media and a board member of the newly floated American entity ROK Entertainment. At ROK he spent four years creating and distributing value added content services to mobile operators and handset manufacturers all around the world.

At Moshen, Graham is responsible for the company vision, technology and emerging market strategy.

Martin Higginson

Non Executive Director

Martin is currently a partner at M Capital Investment Partners LLP the advisory company to IDE Group Limited. A Telecoms, Media and Technology investment company. Martin has founded and listed numerous businesses including, NetPlayTV plc, an interactive TV gaming company; Monstermob plc, a leading provider of mobile content, and Cityblock plc, an alternative student accommodation business. He was also actively involved with the flotation of Thus plc, where he was Interactive and Internet Director. Martin sold his first business, 'BMX Magazine', to IPC Magazines when he was 19. Since then he has sold businesses to Scottish Power plc and Zed Worldwide. He is currently a non executive director of Cupid plc.

David Mousley

Non Executive Director

David is the former CEO of Red Vision, which grew from a small team in Manchester when he joined in 1996 to become one of the most highly regarded UK Visual Effects and Cgi companies, winning two BAFTA and two Royal Television Society awards for excellence and innovation in visual effects and animation, plus numerous EMMY and other award nominations.

In 1999, David formed Red Vision Virtual Racing Systems (“VRS”), a subsidiary that grew into an industry phenomenon, currently generating in excess of £4 billion per annum in the betting and gaming sector and accounting for 8% of all bets placed in the UK.

David has more recently formed Fusion Transmedia with former executives of Copyright Promotions, a company specializing in the production, licensing and merchandising exploitation of children’s animated television series and gaming content. David is currently Co Executive Producer on a number of animated and drama based feature film projects in the UK and USA. He has been a board member of BAFTA, and a participant in the Presidential Advisory Board at the University Academy Art in San Francisco.

Maggie Monteith

Non Executive Director

Maggie has worked for over two decades on the distribution and marketing of over 200 films from blockbusters such as Godzilla, Men in Black, Mask of Zorro and Star Wars: Episode II; timeless jewels such as Jerry Maguire, As Good As It Gets and My Best Friend’s Wedding; to the smaller and more distinct audience pleasers such as Opposite of Sex, Crash and The People vs Larry Flynt.

This has given Maggie the opportunity to meet and work with some of films most famous and prestigious film producers, directors and writers – from Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot), Danny DeVito (Matilda), Andrew Niccol (Gattaca) to auteurs such as David Mamet (The Winslow Boy) and David Cronenberg (Crash).

Maggie has worked with Warner Bros, Columbia-TriStar and Lucasfilm. More recently she has focused her efforts toward film production and film financing, both advising and managing film and TV investments and investors in Los Angeles and in the UK.

David Sheepshanks

Non Executive Director

David is best known for his career in sport, in particular, with Ipswich Town where he was Chairman for 14 years, with the Football League where he was Chairman for 2 years and as a longstanding Board member of the FA. More recently, he was appointed to lead the National Football Centre, now renamed St George’s Park and under his Chairmanship this project is now under construction.

His business background was as the Executive Chairman and majority shareholder of Suffolk Foods Ltd, which he sold in 2004. David joined the Ipswich Town Board in 1987 and was appointed Executive Chairman in 1995, a post he held until May 2009. In January 1997 he was elected Chairman of the Football League with a mandate to drive a reorganisation and modernising process for the League, which he undertook in two years, appointing Richard Scudamore as its CEO.

Between 1997-2000 and again between 2003-2011 he has represented the League on the main Football Association Board, the FA International Committee and as a member and past Chairman of the FA Professional Game Board (FA, PL and FL).

In June 2011 he stepped down from a number of his football roles to devote more time as Chairman of St George’s Park and FA Learning, the educational arm of the FA responsible for Coach Education and professional development. St George’s Park is set to open in Summer 2012.

David is a Regional Chairman for Coutts Bank in Suffolk and Norfolk and also represents them nationally for their Sports and Entertainment business; other directorships include, Non-Executive Chairman of Environmental Biotech UK. He chairs the Suffolk Foundation and Ipswich Town Charitable Trust, alongside other voluntary sector interests. David is Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk (2005) and was given an Honorary Doctorate from the University of East Anglia for services to the community (2004).
